MODERN CLASSES

At Elements Dance and Theatre Schools we follow the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) syllabus from Primary – Advanced. Modern is suitable for boys and girls from 4 years.

As the Grades become more complex Elements suggest that the Stretch/Jazz class will benefit the student to increase strength and flexibility required for the grade.

Performance Team

The Elements Performance Team has gone from strength to strength over the years. Joining the team is by audition only or selected from students displaying commitment, improvement and potential within weekly syllabus classes.

The Performance Team expand on their skills and technique already learnt through their syllabus classes, learning new routines including solo's, duets and group dances.

Working towards special performances, competitions and festivals.

ISTD MODERN

These classes are enjoyable for all who attend. Learning basic discipline and setting a sound technique for the future.

The music used in class is a mix of syllabus and free music. This helps to keep the class energised and the students focused with music that they can relate to.
